Happy New Year!

Flurries are falling, temperatures are dropping, and 2025 is bringing us exactly what we wanted: MORE WINTER! Higher elevations will likely see some light accumulation overnight.

LIfts open at 9:00 AM tomorow, Thursday, December 2nd and Friday, December 3rd. 7 lifts will open with access to 23 trails.

The mountain skied great all day. If you’ve ever made chocolate chip cookies, think about when creamy butter mixes with sugar—that's a lot like what our surface felt like, a super fun ride and delicious to boot. Wolverine and Warpath are carrying a dreamy, confectionary concoction, complete with a few denser sugar snowballs that break easily. The East Side contains more of the same, with a bit more chalkiness added to the texture. Why Not remains fun underfoot and has some challenge mixed in.

The snow will firm up more overnight as the temperatures dip below freezing, our grooming team will work their magic to smooth everything out come the morning. The upper mountain and advanced terrain will be a bit firmer but will still be laid with fresh corduroy; beginner terrain will have a softer blanket of machine groomed loose granular snow for more forgiving turns.

This long-awaited cold snap allows our team to do what they do best, and snowmaking operations resume tomorrow afternoon! The crew will first be refreshing snow on some existing terrain, including Wraparound, Whistler, What’s Next, and our base area fanguns, before shifting sights back to Windfall, Upper Wolverine, and some other lower mountain spots.

2025 is looking snowy and bright, cheers to some great skiing and snowboarding ahead!
