Rain 40°F
Conditions
Greetings from Windham Mountain Club! We have the 24-25 winter season in our sights and are eager to begin sustained snowmaking once we see consistent cold temperatures arrive. The forecast currently predicts temperatures continuing to dip as we approach the weekend, with summit temperatures dipping into the mid 20s by Friday. Snow is expected Friday, with accumulation occurring mostly at the summit. Extended forecasts show that a cold push move in around 11/27 through the holiday weekend and this cold pattern is expected to prevail into early December. Stay tuned here for updates with regard to when we'll start cranking the guns. Once we are able to do so, projected coverage will be limited to advanced terrain only. We look forward to another great season ahead and can't wait to share news of an opening date soon.

The mountain is currently CLOSED.

We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all our guests through education, awareness, and adherence to mountain safety guidelines.

Key Safety Tips

1. Know the Code:
Familiarize yourself with the Skier Responsibility Code. It’s crucial to understand and respect the rules to ensure everyone’s safety on the mountain. Remember, safety starts with you.

2. Stay in Control:
Always be aware of your surroundings and maintain control of your speed and direction. This helps prevent accidents and ensures a safe experience for all.

3. Respect Others:
Be mindful of other skiers and snowboarders around you. Yield to those ahead and give plenty of space when passing.

4. Use Proper Equipment:
Ensure your equipment is in good condition and appropriate for your skill level. Properly functioning gear can significantly reduce the risk of injury.

5. Be Prepared for Changing Conditions:
Mountain weather can change rapidly. Dress in layers and be prepared for varying conditions. Check the weather forecast and trail conditions before heading out.

6. Follow Signage and Patrol Instructions:
Pay attention to all posted signs and follow the instructions of the mountain patrol. These guidelines are in place to keep you safe.

7. Hydrate and Rest:
Stay hydrated and take breaks as needed. Fatigue can lead to accidents, so listen to your body and rest when necessary.
