1/28/2025 Afternoon Report

Good afternoon skiers and riders of Windham! Our beautiful bluebird day is coming to a close and the only thing that could make it better is on its way...snow showers are slated for this evening into tomorrow! Some wind is projected to accompany this baby squall in the late afternoon.

For Wednesday, January 29 we will have 6 lifts spinning beginning at 9:00am servicing 45 trails. It's that time in the season where groomed terrain exists in every direction you look--our snow grooming fleet will be out all evening long laying down stripes while you're sleeping, ready for fresh tracks and smooth turns come morning. They'll be leaving the Wall, Upper/Lower Wheelchair, Warmup, Wicked and Wing'n It in a state of ungroomed glory.

Snowmaking springs back in action tomorrow, with efforts concentrated on the East Peak -- Wanderer and Why Not, predominantly, with supporting efforts on other East Peak trails as resources allow. We'll be yo-yoing a bit as we track the waltz of the weather this weekend, so we'll look to shutdown again Friday before starting back up on the West Side when temps come back.

As January winds down and we look to February, don't forget to book your Presidents' Weekend getaway in the mountains! With live music, fireworks, an abundance of apres and plenty of terrain to roam, memories are waiting to be made in Windham.

See you out there!
