1/2/25 Afternoon Report 2:45 PM

It’s our favorite kind of weather: clear, cold, and blue, sunny skies, and now—a sprinkling of flurries! Tomorrow, we’ve got more of the same, with the added bonus of snowmaking turned ON. We are heading into Friday ready to open 7 lifts and 23 trails for Friday, January 3.

Grooming will occur across all open terrain, with passes happening for beginner, intermediate, and advanced/expert trails. Surface conditions include hard pack and frozen granular; upper elevations will be firmer than down below. Beginner terrain will be groomed last to preserve and provide a softer ride.

Fantastic news for your weekend ahead: Snowmaking efforts are springing back into action this afternoon, which will be a fantastic complement to the 1” of snow we received overnight. The team will first make snow on Wraparound, Whistler, What’s Next, and the base area, before shifting to Windfall, Upper Wolverine, and Warmup. There’s no end in sight for this weather window, and we will keep the snowmaking on as long as we can!

See you tomorrow!
