Evening Update:
Greetings from Windham Mountain Club! After experiencing a town-wide outage that began at 3:00 AM, power has been restored to the mountain and town of Windham. With 14” of snow at the summit, 8" at the base, and more on the way, we couldn’t be more excited for the winter season to begin. Snowfall is expected to continue for the next 24 hours with more heavy and wet snow accumulation on the way. This snow will create a fantastic base and most of it is anticipated to survive the warmer weekend temperatures. Please be advised, the mountain is not open for skiing or snowboarding at this time, and uphill travel is not authorized. Sustained snowmaking is set to begin as soon as consistently cold temperatures set in. Temperatures are anticipated to drop steadily this weekend and we are hoping to fire our snowmaking during the early part of this coming week. Stay tuned for snow updates - we can’t wait to see you all again soon!
The mountain is currently CLOSED.
